INTERSTITIALS
BillMeLater becomes PayPal Credit
ROLE Visual Design Lead | CLIENT PayPal | PROJECTS Interstitials
When PayPal acquired BillMeLater (BML) in 2008, BML then became PayPal Credit in 2014. The goal of this project was to create interstitials to inform the BML users that their account was becoming PayPal Credit. The challenge was that not all BML users wanted to sign up for a PayPal account to use PayPal Credit. So, there were several design iterations in trying to use the best visual with the most empathetic, and informative messaging. BML users had the option to link their BML account to their PayPal account, or continue to use BML until they no longer could do so.
This design informs BML users that their account is now PayPal Credit, and their account will be managed on PayPal.com
Numerous design explorations were created informing BML users to link their account to PayPal.
